Peculiar Asymmetric Chairs

This Chair Design by Caroline Eriksson is an Artistic Statement Piece

This asymmetric chair, designed by Caroline Eriksson, makes a statement about "unclean history."

The Connessio chair is unlike most as it does not seem to follow any common home design pattern to speak of. It features a white stool-like base with a support system that is almost non-existent. Instead, a rod replaces the area where the back rest normally sits and support comes in the form of a single line that curves over to attach itself to one of the chair's legs. While not the most functional piece of furniture, it was designed for the purpose of representing "hidden information" in a single object along with "the ideals of a modern city."

This asymmetric chair is meant to reflect on and represent the process of design and it does just that with its simple yet perplexing design.
