Deceptive Culinary Candy

Jess Gabe's Artistic Food Creations Consist of Creative Candy-Made Meals

At first glance these common meals might look mundane, but in fact they are artistic food items made out of different candies.

Crafted by Jess Gabe, Candy Cuisine uses only sweets to recreate everyday food items including a microwave dinner, chicken pot pie, hotdogs, cheese and crackers. In A Delightful Combo, Gabe used Airheads, bubble tape, butter pecan cake, fruit leather, grapefruit slices and icing to create a pastrami sandwich on rye bread with spicy mustard as well as coleslaw and a pickle.

More of her artistic food can be seen on her website, where prints of the surprisingly sweet dishes can be purchased. If you have a food-obsessed loved one you need a last minute gift for, they would be a delicous choice.
