Artist Martin Usborne has created a touching collection of photographs which capture the expressiveness of our canine friends. 'The Silence of Dogs in Cars' captures a number of pooches who are locked in cars as they wait anxiously for their owners and peer tentatively out the window.
The artist, Martin Usborne says he was influenced by a childhood memory of being left in his parents car as they did their shopping and the 'fear' he experienced in thinking that they might never come back. These pictures highlight the close connection that dogs have with humans and how much they depend on their owners.
Just be warned, these images of pooches peering doe-eyed through a rain soaked car window might melt your heart a little.
