The Arrow Gas Mask Guides You Safely from Burning Buildings

When an emergency situation is enough to muddle you in the mind, the effect of smoke in a structure fire will only further cloud your vision and take away your breath. The Arrow Gas Mask is an innovative rescue apparatus that protects your eyes and your lungs and takes a load off of the stress in your head by helping you to seek out the nearest exit safely.

This invention is the result of a collaboration between six designers including professors Jeon Sung-su and Kim Ki-Pil from the Jeju National University. The device employs Ubiquitous Sensor Network technology to map out means of egress through rooms and hallways and presents its user with a glowing green pointer, projected onto the floor before him. The Arrow Gas Mask also integrates RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to communicate with rescuers outside.
