Applied Nutrition Launches a Low-Calorie Electrolyte Water

Applied Nutrition launches ‘Body Fuel,’ a sugar-free electrolyte-based sports drink that contains healthy antioxidant vitamins C, E, D, and Zinc, as well as a full range of B vitamins and 250mg of BCAAs. It is offered in flavors of orange, lemon, and lime and has undergone batch testing by Informed Sport, certifying it safe for usage by elite athletes.

To assist the majority of customers in multiple activities while increasing muscle performance, Applied Nutrition has designed Body Fuel with 665 mg of electrolytes from several sources, basing it on the "optimum ratio" needed to fuel muscle function and rehydration.

"Sports drinks containing electrolyte minerals are a convenient way for people to stay hydrated and replenish the electrolytes they lose through sweat while exercising," explains Gareth Powell, head of product development at Applied Nutrition. "These minerals are important for keeping the body hydrated, controlling its nervous system and optimizing muscle function, while balancing acidic and basic (pH) levels."
