Starbucks Released the 'Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato' for Fall 2022

Starbucks unveiled its first new drink for the Fall of 2022, the 'Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato.' While Starbucks traditionally releases fall drinks alongside its fan-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte, this oatmilk macchiato is expected to expose more customers to the sustainable milk alternative included in its name.

This dairy-free macchiato features Starbucks' Blonde Espresso shot as its base, combined with oat milk, apple cinnamon filling, and the addition of brown sugar. The beverage is optionally topped with whipped cream, though this will remove the dairy-free nature of the macchiato.

Harvey Rojas Mora, a beverage developer at Starbucks, stated: "The oatmilk adds a creaminess and brings forward the oat flavors of a traditional apple crisp topping," when speaking on the choice to use oatmilk in the beverage, rather than traditional milk.
