Thatchers Cider Introduces the Apple and Blackcurrant Flavor

Thatchers Cider, a well-established name in the world of cider production, is set to enhance its range of fruit ciders by introducing a new flavor – Apple and Blackcurrant. This 4% ABV variant is poised to join Thatchers' existing lineup of fruit ciders, which includes popular choices like Blood Orange, Cloudy Lemon, and Rosé.

The new Apple and Blackcurrant cider is designed to cater to a diverse range of consumer preferences and will be available in multiple packaging options. These include 4x440ml and 10x330ml can packs, a single 500ml glass bottle, and a price-marked pack containing 4x440ml cans.

"[...] Well over half of the fruit category is a dark fruit flavour. However, we know the category needs reviving and that there is huge potential ahead for a fresh approach in the category due to the continuing popularity of the flavour, particularly in Scotland and the North of England where fruit cider is so popular," says Thatchers commercial director Jonathan Nixon.
