Geometric Hand-Made Structures

Sauleda's Annual Fair Stand Features Handcrafted Wooden Designs

Century-old Sauleda -- a company that specializes in all types of awnings and fabrics -- enlisted Germany-based Dom Arquitectura to create a one-of-a-kind annual fair stand.

The company wanted a stand that both represented the brand and stood out as a unique structure. The design team created a series of hand-crafted wooden looms in a geometric shape, making each seem as though they are surrounded by threads intertwining up and down. Using ribbons to generate different shapes, the team created a bold structure that draws attention from across the room.

With complementary lighting systems, the annual fair stand provides a unique experience as well as a lounge filled with furniture made by the brand -- maximizing the sale of fabrics, awnings and furniture.
