Hailing from Swabian Bavaria, Anne-Sophie Stolz returned to her roots in order to capture the customs and rituals that still take place there.
In this case, Anne-Sophie Stolz focused on capturing traditional festivals such as Fastnacht, a Germanic variant of Mardi Gras. Dressed in suits covered in pine cones, horned demon ensembles and more, people parade through the streets to expel winter's gloom.
