anCnoc Unveils Artist Partnerships to Celebrate Its 125th Anniversary

In honor of the distillery's 125th anniversary, anCnoc Single Malt Scotch Whisky worked with two prominent and upcoming artists, Kate Colin and Joachim King, to create avant-garde and striking pieces.

Both artists created unique one-off pieces that pay homage to the distillery's heritage -- Kate Colin a framed origami piece and Joachim King, a whisky cabinet. Colin's piece boasts an intricate hand scoring and folding technique that draw inspiration from the ancient art of origami. King's woodwork, on the other hand, focuses on maximizing structure and shape while adhering to a modern and practical aesthetic.

anConc commented: "We can’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate this important milestone than to create a one-off piece that will inspire us for the next 125 years. A piece of modern tradition."
