Amy Hammond Draws Marker Waves on Top of Photographs

Now that summer is in full swing, here is this season-appropriate sharpie surf art by Amy Hammond. The images were photographed by the artist in Captiva Island, Florida herself using a waterproof disposable. Although Captiva is a popular surf spot, it's unlikely that you will ever encounter waves like the ones found from this collection.

Hammond used Ultra Fine Sharpies and artistic creativity to make her surftastic artwork. The Sharpie images almost seem to jump out of the photograph, creating an added dimension. It's quite difficult from getting swept away with this wavy art. This Sharpie photo art would make great postcards, and I can't wait to see more from this artist. Amy Hammond has found a great way to celebrate the summer with her ocean photo art.
