Musically Inspired Perfumes

Allegretto 7.2 Was Inspired by Beethoven's Symphony No. 7

Over the course of three years, Berceuse Parfum has been working on its first perfume, Allegretto 7.2, which translates music into fragrance. In all, 24 versions of the fragrance were developed before the final formula was settled. The debut perfume product was inspired by Symphony No. 7 and imagining how it might smell.

The essence of Allegretto 7.2 is described as elegant and mysteriously smoky, with "notes recede and repeat rhythmically." The fragrance includes Haitian vetiver, lavender, a top note of crisp and clean mint and a base of cedarwood, vanilla, and benzoin.

Allegretto 7.2 is available in a small sample size and a full 50-milliliter bottle for $224.99.
