The Alexander Wang Fall 2012 Collection is Not for Wallflowers

Leave it to the Alexander Wang Fall 2012 show to bring the excitement and drama to New York Fashion Week. Not only did supermodels Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova, Carmen Kass and Shalom Harlow walk in the young designer's show, but the collection itself is quite unforgettable.

New York City-based Alexander Wang told Style.com prior to the show that he was taking "a surrealistic approach to fabric manipulation. It's this idea of shrink-wrap, lamination, covering up, lacquering."

The Alexander Wang Fall 2012 collection is certainly covered up. From pencil skirts and knee-high boots, to chunky sweaters and even face masks covering the mouths of some of the models, skin is certainly not in according to Mr. Wang.
