Dual-Alarm Timepieces

The Alarming Clock by Natalie Duckett Sounds an Additional Evening Alert

The Alarming Clock isn't the first foray into sleep-affecting design by Natalie Duckett. Working in collaboration with fellow Scottish product designer Lee Murray, it is much more sleek than her previous creation: the Woodpecker Alarm Clock. Although the sound that the Alarming Clock emits still resembles that of beak hitting bark, the aesthetic is not as raw as its nature-inspired predecessor.

Addressing the concept of a healthy sleep cycle, the Alarming Clock encourages a regular resting routine. It does so by sounding off two alarms, one that signals when it is time to go to bed and the other when it is time to get out of bed. Admit it, an evening alarm does sound intriguing.
