Al Bronzo is a Range That Draws from the Bronze Die Method

Al Bronzo is the name of a new range of pasta from Barilla that takes inspiration from the traditional bronze die method for "an even more intense roughness and taste." The new pasta products are easy to distinguish from Barilla's traditional pasta in blue boxes, since they stand out in bright red packaging instead.

Bronze-cut pasta, extruded through bronze dies, has a golden color and a more porous texture, which makes it naturally better at sticking to pasta sauce. Thanks to its rough surface, the pasta easily becomes saturated with aroma and flavor and it promises to uplevel the look and taste of home-cooked pasta meals.

In celebration of its 145th anniversary, Barilla is refreshing its brand with not only a new product launch but also a new visual identity and more sustainable packaging that removes the plastic windows from pasta products.
