The design of the Z.AMP by Aki Hirota is definitely nicer than any amp I’ve seen, but I think it’s the overall idea that makes it such a cool innovation.
The Z.AMP’s main concept is that it’s not meant for the garage but actually for inside. Not everybody who plays the guitar wants to be in a band, so Aki Hirota decided that this amp is for those solo jam sessions.
Your wife, girlfriend, neighbors, children or pets won’t be angry for all the shredding. They’ll probably enjoy a little ambient tune.
