Human-Toting Backpacks

The Agilite Injured Personnel Carrier Transports Immobilized People

The Agilite Injured Personnel Carrier is a highly effective means of carrying incapacitated people from one location to another, while still being able to have full use of both arms.

The backpack was designed for the Israel Defense Forces by Agilite, an Israeli company that manufactures survival and military gear. By clamping the injured person to a sling-like device that rests on the back of the person carrying them out, soldiers or rescue personnel can have their hands free to operate weaponry, navigate and clear terrain for an easier journey, and be prepared and agile enough to react to anything that may pop up along the way.

The Agilite Injured Personnel Carrier is an improvement on the traditional 'fireman's carry' that requires slinging the disabled person over one shoulder and carrying them out.
