Adùn is an African food brand that was born after founder Tobi Smith moved to Texas and found himself craving authentic Nigerian foods. What started as a local catering business transformed into a national meal delivery service specializing in soups, meals, pastries and specialty items. Tobi Smith and Co-Founder Bethany Oyefeso now work out of Houston, and named Adùn after the Yorùbá word for flavor.
One of the brand's best-selling products is its Ofada, "a delicious smoky and spicy stew made from red bell peppers cooked down in palm oil" that is also dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free. The stew also features beef chuck, beef tripe and beef tendons for a hearty and authentic taste and can be enjoyed alone or paired with pastas, stir fryes, or even used to elevate your breakfast omelette.
