Adidas Originals ZX 9000 Celebrates Berlin Store's 10 Years

The Berlin flagship store is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a new pair of shoes dubbed the Adidas Originals ZX 9000 designed specifically for the occasion.

The new Adidas Originals ZX 9000 are a pair of low-tops that draws inspiration from the gray, concrete structures that once occupied much of Berlin. As a reflection of that concept, the sneakers have an all-gray upper that was meticulously created by "bleaching and washing for a unique patina finish," according to Freshnessmag. The inside of the tongue shows off a tag that says 'Made In Berlin,' while the side of the upper has a number laser etched onto it. These are limited editions with only 150 pairs in total, which will be released on September 10th at the Adidas Originals Berlin flagship in the Mitte district.
