Everyone loves the feeling of carelessly throwing on an outfit and somehow ending up looking chic, timeless and put-together, which is exactly the vibe that the Acne Spring 2012 collection emitted.
Loose, forgiving silhouettes dominated the collection, giving it an utterly carefree spring feel (I hate to state the obvious, but that's extremely important for a Spring collection and many designers clearly did not get the memo).
The Acne Spring 2012 collection balanced out the billowy feel of the loose layers, however, with cropped tops and leather jackets and chic leather pants. My absolute favorite piece of the entire show goes the opposite direction and is uber feminine: the retro pink dress with convenient pockets. For those of you who are Sex and the City fans, you might recognize the nod to the pink Oscar de la Renta dress Carrie was given by the Russian.
One thing is certain: the Acne Spring 2012 collection was definitely one-of-a-kind.
