Vacant Mind Ads

The Academia de Ideias Campaign Encourages People to "Have More Inside"

The Academia de Ideias campaign focuses on the landscape of an empty mind. Literally. Only the fringe of bangs gives the images in the ad campaign some context. If not for that, they would simply be picturesque shots of the desert, snow and sea. As it stands, however, the print ads show that a vacant mind might be pretty, but it is also dull...pretty dull.

Conceived and executed by Perfil 252, an ad agency based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the Academia de Ideias campaign reads, "Have more inside." Harder than it sounds, people will have to fill those scenes with a lot of action in order to get that done.

The Academia de Ideias campaign was art directed by Francisco Valle with creative direction by Waldemar França and Márcia Lima.
