These Abstract Chairs Look as Though They Have Frozen in Time

The abstract chairs and tables designed by famed artist and designer Michael Jantzen were created to appear as though there were stuck in time.

The collection features a series of all-white chairs and one table that are designed in such a way that each looks like a sequence of the object being moved from one position to the next. The 'Tumbling Chair' shows the process of the chair falling backwards, while the 'Stacked Chairs' form a pyramid that is made up by three chairs and two staircases. The unusual designs of these chairs were created using only the artist's imagination, wood and space.

This abstract collection works as both an art piece as well as functional furniture.
