Aber Falls Announces International Expansions One Year Its Market Debut

Welsh whiskey label Aber Falls has announced that it will be expanding internationally, rolling out its signature whiskey in more than ten new countries including Australia, Denmark, Germany, and Canada. The new expansion arrives approximately one year after the Abergwyngregyn-based distillery launched its debut single malt in 2021.

"It’s important to create a strong footprint and take people on Aber Falls’ unique journey and as such, we’ll continue to educate the trade and consumers about the Welsh whisky category and how we form part of it. This will be vital in helping drive brand advocacy and repeat purchase – in the UK and beyond," said James Wright, managing director at Aber Falls Whisky Distillery.

In addition, due to Wale's recent growth as a region within the world of whiskey making, Aber Falls is collaborating with other Welsh brands to help protect their category through the creation of a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
