A compilation of photos have been taken of abandoned theme parkes that span the gobe from Japan to Louisiana. These creepy desolate parks were once amazing fun filled adventure lands where families and children spent their free time enjoying themselves, laughing and having the time of their lives. It is a very strange phenomenon that such happy and amazing places have become the creepiest abandoned theme parks in the world.
From the water slide that has been overgrown with vines at Disney’s Discovery Island closed in 1999 to the massive collapsed and corroding giant that lies at Gulliver’s Kingdom, located in Japan and closed down in 2001, these images are extremely disturbing.
I remember enjoying amusement parks as a young child, having fun with my friends and family on all of the rides and playing the great games. The thought of visiting one of these abandoned theme parks now sends shivers down my spine.
