The A45 House is a Masterfully Designed Home That is Only 180 Square Feet

The Bjarke Ingels Group created the new A45 House, a tiny home that was inspired by a class A-frame cabin design.

The home reaches only 180 square feet, rotating 45 degrees to give the exterior a unique and crystal-like shape that offers an expansive 13-foot ceiling inside. The interior features Nordic influences to shape the space with exposed wooden frames, Douglas fir flooring and a luxurious cedar sauna-like bathroom. Half of the home was built with floor-to-ceiling glazing to put any guest in direct connection to the surrounding nature. The entire home operates off-grid with a wood-burning stove and is entirely made from recycled and sustainable materials.

Located in a serene neighborhood in upstate New York, the A45 Home can be customized to each homeowner's specifications and be built in as little as six months.
