Psychedelic Camouflage Paintings

Mexican Painter Mijal Zach is Inspired by Nature's Organic Forms

Mijal Zach’s psychedelic paintings play with one’s perception and inspire with their vivid hues and organic forms. The Mexican painter is a fine arts graduate with experience in window dressing while living in Spain. Mijal Zach depicts landscapes and other natural motifs of plants and water using abstract and geometric forms.

Inspired by all things organic, the artist recreates geological and topographic scenes using a layering paint technique that superimposes ambiguous shapes with one another. The end result of his works is a subtle homage to his native Mexico’s cactus plants and seaside shores. In addition to these forms, the artist’s works also feature colorful and depth-infused rock formations that resemble an array of organic minerals.
