Ángel Tausía channeled her creative energy into her latest project, which is called the Bulbbox. Staying true to its product name, the piece is literally a box filled with light bulbs that are either burnt out, that function or that are fragments of their former complete self. The medley of bulbs are housed in an aluminum box that has been painted a white matte.
Adding a welcome pop of color to the structure is a red cord that actually connects to a plug for it to function. The Bulbbox is truly a unique piece because it doubles as both a functional piece of furniture and a piece of art for a consumer's home.
The shattered light effect that the piece portrays from inside is definitely the most peculiar and interesting facet of this design piece.
