Dominican-Inspired Swimwear Lines

Ūnika Swim & Maria Beltre Collaborate on a 90s Swimwear Capsule

Made-to-order brand Ūnika Swim and fashion influencer Maria Beltre have joined forces on a 90s swimwear collection that makes playfully chic and nostalgic silhouettes available to consumers. The line is named 'LA ISLA,' which from Spanish translates to 'The Island.' Heavily patterned, the 90s swimwear designs also draw inspiration from Beltre's Dominican roots. Ūnika Swim Founder Betsy Campos shared that "the collection is all about feeling empowered in your own skin and having fun."

The products in LA ISLA are all made by hand in Ūnika Swim's Toronto boutique, using high-quality materials that are durable and sustainable. The brand is known for harnessing the benefits of its ECONYL® fabric which is made from 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre- and post-industrial waste. In addition, the 90s swimwear collection is also offered in inclusive sizing from XS to 4XL.
