Number-Themed Monochromatic Fashion

Made Thought and Fred Perry Focus on the 5-4-4 Design Ratio

London-based creative label Made Thought works in collaboration with Fred Perry to re-imagine some staple silhouettes by using the 5-4-4 design ratio. The 5-4-4 ratio is often a reference in football culture and has also played a key role in the way that Fred Perry had paved his design aesthetics.

The design code is reinterpreted through a deconstructed design process, reformating the placement of the numbers. This is then features on a set of polo shirts, tees, sweaters, as well as a taped track jacket. The standout item in the range is the polo shirt that boasts the 5-4-4 motif on the collar accompanied by the classic stripes. The sweaters and tees feature a blocked emblem of the numbers and the jacket highlights the design ratio on each sleeve.
