Millennial Disney Princesses

These Illustrations Showcase Disney Princesses In the 21st Century

Artist Anoosha has reimagined popular Disney princesses as 21st century girls. Trading in their traditional Victorian-style gowns for more up-to-date apparel, these girls look like your average Millennial.

A part of her latest series of work, Anoosha created a series of digital illustrations which showcase a selection of Disney princesses as 21st century teens. The collection of work features Ariel, Belle, Jane, Jasmine, Mulan and Pocahontas as modern-day young women.

In addition to their new looks, Anoosha also assigned each princess with a brand new occupation which does not include the royal life. While Ariel is an aspiring marine biologist, Belle is a Game of Thrones-obsessed bookworm, Jane is a graduate in scientific illustration, Jasmine has taken up travel blogging, Mulan is a cadet and Pocahontas is an aspiring film industry culture adviser.
