Old MG Midget Gets Renovated With Some Sturdy Recycled Materials

This is a fine example of crafmanship and art by two creative artists Ann Conte and Jeanne Wiley, who gave a new look to an old MG Midget that was holding firewood in a backyard. Ann Conte and Jeanne Wiley renovated the MG Midget with a woven basket-like exterior. Almost 500 yards of overstock car seat belt material were used to create the woven exterior for the car. The interior car used partially recycled material Corian Terra which was donated by Dupont. The car is also decorated with handmade ceramic flowers, headlights and tail lights. The woven car will be on display at DuPont's booth GreenBuild 2010 in November, 2010.
