Life-Sized Whale Boats

'Moby' Will Cross the Atlantic

Tom McClean is my hero. He is a man with a plan to cross the Atlantic Ocean inside a fake whale he has built. And not just any whale--his whale boat project is called 'Moby' and was even launched by the Prince of Wales.

It is 65 feet long, 25 feet high, weighs in at 60 tons, and is fitted with 2 engines. 'Moby' is the size of a sperm whale. 'Moby' was an amazing project on its own, but taking this whale across the Atlantic ups the ante to a whole new level.
