Blink is a nifty wireless security camera that combines high performance with low price. The camera records video at 720p HD and also includes a temperature sensor, microphone, night vision and a motion sensor that is triggered when someone or something moves around your home when you're not there.
The camera requires the plugging in of an additional Sync Module device, which hosts the WiFi radio. The device does not support local storage, so recorded footage is automatically uploaded to Blink's cloud storage facility -- which is free -- for viewing. Users can also view a live feed of the camera footage on their smartphones via the companion app.
The developers of the Blink wireless security camera have taken to crowdfunding website Kickstarter to raise $200,000 for production of the device.
