Fashionably Designed Wireless Charging Trousers Are Available From Microsoft

These wireless charging trousers are the result of a collaboration between British fashion designer Adrien Sauvage and Microsoft Mobile. In a world first, the software company created a way to charge mobile devices in pant pockets.

Sauvage designed the wireless charging trousers as part of London Collections' 'Modern Man.' A Nokia DC-50 wireless charging plate is sewn into the pockets so phones can be charged inductively. Nokia was acquired by Microsoft, and was renamed Microsoft Mobile in the process. Their technology charges Nokia Lumia smartphones, which can of course also be charged via USB cable. Sauvage had to experiment a bit with the design of the powerful pants, to ensure the phone-charging technology wasn't bothersome to the wearer.
