Photographer Wilma Hurskainen has produced a seriers of photographs that play with the eye; her Blended Landscape Portraits almost make you wonder whether or not your internet connection is slow and the image has yet to finish loading.

These photographs use a magnificent form of image blending by simply having the subjects in the image wear clothing that matches the background they stand in front of. A lot of photographers have tried to accomplish the same effect, but few have done it so well that it almost appears that the pictures were taken effortlessly.

Wilma Hurskainen works and lives in Helsinki Finland where she studied photography at the Lahti Institute of Design and Aalto University. Wilma works on various commissioned assignments as well as freelance work that has appeared in numerous solo exhibitions in Finland, Romania, Germany and Moldova.
