Plauyfully Branded Wheat Grits

This Packaging Was Designed to Be Appealing to Parents of Infants

These children's wheat grits were designed by Karla Novak, who chose to turn their packaging into an interactive toy.

The food, called 'Medolino,' was created for infants and while they will likely be unable to notice whether or not this packaging is playful, it leaves clear to parents what its intention is. The box of wheat grits is bright yellow in color and features honeycomb illustrations that reference the honey-based ingredients of the food. The boxes were designed to look like bees -- with faces, wings and "ears" that extend outwards.

These wheat grits target consumers with infant children and are visually appealing to both children and their parents. Their bee-inspired branding is not only fun and eye-catching but also references the healthy ingredients found inside each snack.
