Unique Utilitarian Tables

The WF Magazine Side Table Boasts an Industrial Rawness and Versatility

The WF Magazine Side Table might be described as utilitarian since it has no frills and is perfectly practical. However, this contemporary piece of furniture expresses itself with more character than that first identifier might suggest, thanks to its materials and clever composition.

Made by Joshua Howe Design, this coffee table comprises a rectangular frame of mild steel that's been acid treated and finished in either wax or lacquer. Just over half of its top is covered by a slab of pigmented concrete, serving as a substantial surface for holding food, beverages, remotes and the like. Finally, the WF Magazine Side Table comes with a removable grate that can span the upper bars over the remaining void. The thin bars function as a hanging magazine rack and a holder of newspapers and books.
