Space-Bound Paper Airplanes

The Vulture 1 Spaceplane to Launch in Spain

Although the craft of paper airplanes is pretty huge, even if in an underground way, I didn't think I would ever see the day when someone would try to launch one into space -- enter Vulture 1. Touted as the first space-bound paper airplane ever, the launch was supposed to take place in Spain this weekend. However, due to poor weather conditions, it has been postponed.

During the PARIS (Paper Aircraft Released into Space) launch, Vulture 1 will reach an altitude of 66,000 ft. via a weather balloon. Once released, it will record its path by a mini camera. Can't wait to see Vulture 1's footage.
