Visionplus Provides Navigation Help for the Visually Impaired

It’s a miracle! Well, actually, it’s the latest breakthrough in white cane technology. The Visionplus is a walking stick for the blind that has been enhanced with GPS for navigation and RFID Tag technology, which bookmarks select locations for the ultimate in easy, sight-free walking.

Designed by Cenk Aytekin, the Visionplus interacts with the user through audio and tactile sensors to increase efficiency in mobility for the blind. It has walking and vehicle modes, sound and vibration notifications, adjustable grips and a Braille option for the hearing impaired.

Getting around is now safer, simpler, and smarter than ever! This is a wonderful innovation for the blind, and with all these features, we might all benefit from our very own Visionplus walking sticks.
