This Vietnamese Pavilion by Vo Trong Nghia is set to be built for the Milan Expo in 2015. 'Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life' is the motive behind the expo, and this pavilion examines ideas of nature and sustainability within the world.
The pavilion looks like a group of trees, however the real trees are only placed on top of a set of large pillars. Underneath visitors are able to relax and interact with the installation. According to DesignBoom, "in order to reduce the lightweight building’s environmental impact, the prefabricated bamboo structure can be easily dissembled and reused after the event."
