Rightware is Designing Interactive Navigational Displays for Drivers

Rightware is a brand experimenting with creating virtual vehicle dashboards known as the Virtual Cockpit for auto companies that transform a traditional dashboard into a much more interactive and navigation-oriented display. The company has previously worked on such dashboards in the Audio R8 providing a customized layout tailored to each driver's specific needs and tastes.

TheVisual Cockpit is a large screen located at the front of the car below the windshield that allows drivers to have greater understanding of their surroundings as well as the car's overall functionality. The system services indicators, gauges and interactive features that allow consumers to have up-to-date information about their driving as well as instant connectivity to their tech devices -- such as smartphones. All of the display features are animated, eliminating the need for physical dials.
