Witch Topokki Boasts a Menu Full of Comfort Foods

An all-you-can-eat Tteokbokki restaurant opened its doors in New York and the establishment is sure to add a sense of comfort to the city's already robust cuisine landscape. Called 'Witch Topokki,' the restaurant offers a comprehensive range of Korean comfort foods, including ramen, fried chicken, and fishcakes.

Tteokbokki refers to popular street food in Korea. Witch Topokki offers "a create-your-own affair of endless ingredients and side dishes from the buffet bar ($22.95 for lunch; $25.95 for dinner)." At the Tteokbokki restaurant, one may cook the food at the table in a savory fish broth base.

As if testifying to the growing popularity of the Tteokbokki restaurant genre in North America, Witch Topokki will be opening a second location in the Bayside neighborhood (which is three miles away) in late January. Following are plans for even more expansion.
