TRUE BLUE TEXTILE Highlights Kyocera's FOREARTH Printer

Kyocera's new TRUE BLUE TEXTILE project aligns with a Wear to Save Water fashion concept created to boost awareness of environmental issues ahead of World Water Day 2024.

TRUE BLUE TEXTILE is printed using Kyocera's sustainable inkjet printer, FOREARTH, which debuted in 2023 as a solution for eliminating 99% of the water used in textile printing. This innovation highlights the possibility of creating with vivid colors, without sacrificing one of the world's most valuable resources. Large amounts of water are ordinarily involved in steaming and washing during the process of dyeing fabrics and what's more, polluted wastewater is produced as a result—but Kyocera's FOREARTH inkjet textile printer reduces water use to the bare minimum.

A total of five outfits were created for the project by ANREALAGE and the Vantan Design Institute.
