Sterile Plastic Seating

NENDO's Pristine Transparent Chair Acts Like a Mini Hammock

The Transparent Chair definitely gives off a very sterile vibe. Not only does it have a minimalist aesthetic, but it is also made up of a medium which gives it a bubble-like effect.

Designed by NENDO, the Transparent Chair may look like it’s been made out of plastic, but the material used is actually polyurethane film. Often used as packing material for precision instruments and products, polyurethane film absorbs vibrations and shocks due to its high elasticity.

Rather shapeless when not in use, the Transparent Chair molds to each person’s body like a hammock. When in use, the Transparent Chair consists of only a backrest and arm rests.
