FontanaArte has released the Tour Table by Gae Aulenti. Aulenti is a celebrated Italian architect and designer who is best known for designing La Musée D’Orsay in Paris. She was definitely inspired by the wheel for this particular project.
The Tour Table by Gae Aulenti features a base consisting of four rotating rubber wheels which hold a glass top. Each of the wheels are fixed to the top by four stainless steel plates and chromium-plated brackets. This very chic and high-end table on wheels costs over $6,000.
