Panasonic's New Toughbook 55 Will Have Many Interchangeable Parts

Panasonic has created the next edition of its Toughbook computers, titled the Toughbook 55. The computer is currently available for a $2,099 price point. However, the company has not currently listed a price for add-on features.

The computer was designed in order to allow users to change out different parts of the machine to suit a user's individual needs. Users will also have the option to add different parts to their Toughbook 55, including additional ports, a dedicated graphics card, a fingerprint reader, or additional storage. Owners of the computer will also be able to replace basic features of the computer, including the RAM and keyboard. The battery can also be changed out to offer 40 extra hours of power.
