'Thriving Communities' is an Alternative Way to See the World

'Thriving Communities' is an alternative way to see the world. It's an entrepreneurial and a good-focused way to bring the local to the table and consider what kind of world we really want to live in--on the small-scale at the very lease. A 2012 conference at Whidbey focused on how local food plays a part in making the world a better place for your body and for others.

"The best places to live are where residents trust each other, care about each other, and invest their time and effort to make their community a thriving one," wrote Rick Docksai in the Summer 2013 World Future Review.
