This Hair Of Mine Aims to Revolutionize the Black Hair Industry

Cyndia Harvey has revolutionized the scope of luxury hair and scalp care by starting her own business, This Hair Of Mine, after creating hairstyles for some of fashion's most recognizable companies. Harvey and artist Remi Ajani co-founded T.H.O.M, aiming to promote the beauty and capabilities of Black hair.

Harvey describes the tradition of scalp care as "a ritual cherished by moms, fathers, sisters, and brothers." She stated: "We're redesigning this routine with a more effective approach meant to give remarkable outcomes, based on the latest scientific discoveries."

T.H.O.M is named after a film project directed by Akinola Davies Jr, which honors the African diaspora and highlights the ancestral connection between Black hair and the identities of Black people. T.H.O.M’s Scalp Serum launches on May 31.
