The AI Chess Table
This might be great for professional chess player, but it does nothing for my self-esteem. The Thinking Table is an interactive table with a built in chess board and an AI program that predicts the probable moves the player may be planning. As the computer 'thinks' of various moves, it sketches them out in colored lines on the board (its moves are in orange; what it thinks you're going to do shows up as green). The board is both the arena in which the two players act, and a thought space in which their linked choices, deliberations and hostilities are made visible.
