The Shell Aims to Burn the Last of the World's Gas in Style

The Shell is a conceptual car from designer Imran Othman that is the exact opposite of every car being designed today. Whereas most designers are trying to save fuel, Othman is trying to burn it all up. Othman's design may sound irresponsible, but there is actually a good purpose behind it.

The Shell combines a small body with a big engine in the hope that drivers will get a thrill out of using what little gas is left on the planet. This design attempts to accelerate our switch to electric and hybrid vehicles by using copious amounts of gas; that way we will be forced to drive eco-friendly vehicles as there won't be enough fuel left to drive those solely powered by petrol! The Shell has a sleek design, and even though it will probably never see production, you have to love Othman's intentions.
